When weighing a calf or other small animal, the Rural365 | Calf Weighing Sling holds the calf in the correct position to keep them from falling out. It can be used for newborn calves, lambs, goats, baby alpacas, and other small animals up to 200 pounds. This sling includes reinforced nylon straps with installed metal D-rings so you can simply slip the sling around the belly and loop one handle through the other to hold the calf snugly. We recommend a second set of hands and having the calf dried off before use. It is made of nylon material that will not rot or deteriorate and is heavy-duty yet lightweight enough to not add much weight to your scale. You can even use this sling to allow your animal to take weight off their ankles and spend time off their legs when recovering from an injury.
