Every reptile owner knows that calcium is essential to proper bone growth in their pets. Mealworms are deficient in calcium. Fluker's Hi Calcium Mealworm Diet enables reptile keepers to gut-load feeder roaches in order to increase their vitamin and mineral content prior to offering them as prey. In addition, this product serves as a bedding for your mealworms. This veterinarian-formulated diet establishes a positive calcium-to-phosphorus ratio in live mealworms which enables reptiles to benefit - not only from the nutritional value of the mealworm itself - but from the insect's nutrient-rich, gut content as well. This is the only mealworm diet clinically proven to create a positive calcium to phosphorus ratio in mealworms when fed as directed!

Directions
Feed as the primary source of food to mealworms. Add 1 to 2 inches of Fluker's High-Calcium Mealworm Diet to your mealworm container. Toensure optimal nutrition and calcium intake, let your mealworm feed on the diet for 48 hours before offering to your pet. Replace diet once it breaks down and becomes dusty. It is not advised to keep potatoes and other sources of moisture in your roach container while gutloading. They will prefer to eat that instead of the gut-loading diet. If keeping mealworms longer than one week, you may store them in a refrigerator to prevent them from changing into beetles. Wash hands after handling.
